Squad's new album is a treasure for the ears. It's hard to find good rock and roll these without the glam of pop
invectives. I feel that after listening to this album, and getting used to lead singer Jeff Fortson's vocals, I actually
found them very sticking and natural. One thing I can say is that as a whole this album works. Some bands
have that one song that sticks out because it's either better then the rest of the mediocre album, or the personality of the
cd really doesn't shine through. With Squad however, this is not evident. It sounds like a hard working band putting
their heart into something that will last and portrays their souls in a way. Check out their lyrics too, well written
to the music, and almost soothing in the midst of some of the best compositions of quickbeating rock I've heard in a while.
"He is a rollercoaster/she's a bulldozer, oh yeah!" Each song brings a new personality and nothing is wasted
in this record. Even the artwork in the cover slip is great. Instead of writing lyrics, these guys put pictures
of their live shows onto the pages. Personally, being very visual, I enjoyed looking at the pictures and visualizing
the band up on stage twisting to their beats. I give this band kudos for having a spectacular cut that will be in my
cd collection for a long time. Rolling Stones? Ramones? Squad Five-O.

Five
years ago Squad Five-0 had their humble beginnings in a 2nd floor Savannah bedroom, and they havent looked back since. Not
that Squad doesnt know their rock history. From the King to the Stones, the Boss to the Ramones, all of it plays a part in
the glorious wreckage that is Squad Five-0. Squads five members are all punk rock veterans who have simply returned to their
roots, rock n roll.
Known for their epic live show and die-hard work ethic, Squad realizes that rock has to be returned
to the masses in a real way, to be healed from the disease of mediocrity. In a culture that is fascinated with rock stars
and the cult of personality, Squad couldnt care less. Playing the music that matters to them is paramount, whatever comes
along the way would just be a by-product of the inevitable.
Started by twin brothers Jeff and John Fortson, the lineup
was later cemented by the addition of native Philadelphians Adam Garbinski and guitar hero Kris Klein. The drum seat was filled
by long time friend of all four members, Dave Petersen. With roots of friendship that go back before they ever played a note
together, Squad Five-0 understands the importance of family and community over the stereotype of the rock and roll lifestyle.
Squad
Five-0 is poised to take the world's hearts by storm, one city, one town at a time, dreaming out loud all the while. all
