Mission: Four One Forty

As missions go, there is one...

My mission here at Four One Forty is to bring the limelight to young artists; bands, poets, thinkers, and musicians;  trying to steal some of the show that older artists have held almost exclusively in the past.  I'm hoping that the vibrant youth and fiery passions that young creative minds encapture will fill these pages and in the process inspire all who read.      -daniel griswold

I also would like this to become an interactive community:  people of all types should and will submit their reviews, editorials, poems, art, and creativity.  I will never give up on this site until it is amazingly beautiful in every way.  The question now is, will you be a part of it?  And I know you will, so email everything here.

The Editor's statement of heart: That's the official statement, but it also goes further.  As a person, I want everyone to know that there is hope in the universe for humankind.  Everyone may seem depressed all the time, and we see millions of people constantly faking happiness so that they'll be accepted in whatever field of work, or type of atmosphere they choose to let themselves be part of.  This is such a sad state that I had to comment on it, because I've been down the road of self destruction (and that's what it is); if we're not happy, then there's something wrong.  For myself, when I found Jesus Christ, all the pain that I held in my life seemed so much smaller.  For once in my life I had something that was worth doing, "trying to be with my creator."  I had a goal and I've stuck to it, and since then, the journey that I've taken has been more amazing than I could ever imagine.  God has blessed me with a talent for writing, blessed me with friends that I don't deserve alot of the time, blessed me with a passion for helping people, and lately, I've been using my music to bless God and hopefully all that I've played for.  I also think that the youth of our country need to believe in something, and for too long we haven't believed in anything, including our country...which I've been particularly disillusioned with considering that I'm a pacifist.  But I hope that you'll at least think about knowing my right hand guy, Jesus Christ; and if not, I encourage  you to just keep on rocking,  and I believe that one day you will find the hope that I hold with so many others.
yours truly,
