mission statement: what we do and why we do it |
|
landing on land is a rock band. first and foremost. we are not here to teach you, lecture you,
or change the way you think. we don't expect riches, fame, or your undying devotion. we are here for one reason only - to
play the music that runs through our veins. this band is the soundtrack of catharsis; the embodiment of everything we think
and do. our songs are not written with credence to structure, "groove", or commercial viability. our songs are simply the
aural expression of the ideas of three distinctly different individuals. we aren't playing shows to act like rock stars, impress
girls, or get a "big break." we're playing shows as a release and a mode of communication - to express what it is that we're
all about, and hope that some of you will understand. think of our music not as a marketing device, but as a reconnaisance
mission; a probe extended into the void of the listening audience, searching for signs of compatible life.
